At their nine month session, we high tailed it out of the studio and into a nearby coffee house, bringing our best hipster cool along for the ride. I don’t know who had more fun — me, or these two.
For now, I think we’ll just call it a tie ;)

Last week the incredible talents of Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting treated me (and many other wedding industry creatives!) to a day on the town. (And by “town” I mean “city.” Two of them.) Ashley and Alissa put together a day of eye candy and information, all within the escorts of a catered limo, and I cannot thank them enough for inviting me along on this incredible opportunity. The tour was delightful + swoon worthy, and the edible art of Three Sons Signature Cuisine dazzled my palate. (Deliciousness, times ten.)

On this day of love and hearts…
some inspiration. On the power of words.
Earlier this winter, I received a note. A card. A thank you. It was unexpected and unnecessary and it lifted my spirits impossibly high. They were just words — type on paper — but I might as well have been given the world and a pair of rose colored glasses to see it through. Words have the power to mold us … they hold the power to encourage, and the power to break. To lift us up, or burst your bubble. To inspire, or to lose hope. Let your words be the light and love that leap off the page, float on the air, and settle in one’s heart.
